Best Practices and Group Awards
The Best Practices and Group Awards committee prepares and submits applications annually for State PTA awards. In 2008, we were recognized as the Washington State PTA Outstanding Local Unit of the Year.
We are routinely awarded a State PTA Standards of Excellence award, meaning we operate our PTSA using State-defined “best practices” and follow all laws governing non-profit organizations.
In 2012, we were awarded the Bronze Level of Standards of Excellence.
In 2015, we were awarded the Gold Level of Standards of Excellence and the Gold Level of Outstanding Communication Strategy.
In 2016, we were awarded the Platinum Level of Standards of Excellence, the Gold Level for Outstanding Communication Strategy, and the Silver Level of Outstanding Website.
